Project Delivery Operations: Project Manager Support & Advisory

Arcadis, along with joint-venture partner BG&E designed the Tunnel and Station Excavation (TSE) Works for Stage 2 of the $12.5-billion Sydney Harbour Metro – Australia’s largest public transport project to date.

Joseph Consulting were engaged during the project establishment and implementation phases to specifically support, advice and assist the Joint Venture Project Manager. The work also included an independent review of project readiness and health at the conclusion of the project establishment and implementation phases. Highlights included;

• Project Leadership Group Alignment Workshop
• Project readiness assessment and matrix review
• Assessment of self-checking mechanisms within the project delivery model
• Establishing the Commercial Management Graphic
• Development and production of a weekly project dashboard
• Drafting the Commercial Management Plans
• Review of Project and Design Management Plans
• The creation of planned milestone success announcements
• Development of the Establishment Report and the Implementation Report
